Luxury B&B near Rye
For overnight guests, Tillingham has eleven luxury double rooms available, in what was formerly a hop barn. There are no TVs, instead a Roberts Radio and stunning views across the estate and original Victorian farmstead. Rooms are open for stays Wednesday – Sunday from October through April and everyday throughout the summer. All stays include a farmhouse breakfast, and bathrooms well stocked with Haeckels products.
Vineyard glamping in Sussex
During the summer months, guests looking for a glamping experience in East Sussex can get even closer to nature by staying in one of two high-spec Bell Tents within the grounds, which are bookable seasonally from May through September.
Things to do at Tillingam
Vineyard tours & tastings run daily. Alongside the vines, there are cattle, sheep, pigs, goats and chickens in addition to a walled kitchen garden for guests to explore. Tillingham also hosts regular events like winemaker dinners, foraging workshops, wellness days, craft courses and exhibitions, so it’s always worth checking ahead to see what’s on.
Dog-friendly accommodation near Rye
There are two dog friendly rooms in the hotel available on request, so get in touch ahead of booking to confirm availability. Dogs are welcome in the Bar, Shop and Pizza barn, though not the restaurant. And please be aware that Tillingham is a working farm with live animals, so keep your dog on a lead.
