The Flint Barns

Nestled in a quiet valley at the western tip of Rathfinny Wine Estate, the Flint Barns is an award-winning B&B near the Sussex coast.

Located between the sea and the South Downs, the lovingly renovated historic barns overlook Rathfinny’s vineyards and make the ideal base from which to explore this rich corner of Sussex. And if you’re a lover of wine, even better.

Bed and Breakfast in East Sussex

There are 10 en-suite bedrooms at The Flint Barns. Each room is decorated with local art prints and equipped with soft bed linen, indulgent body washes, and luxurious mattresses, with far-reaching views of the vineyard and the surrounding countryside. Hearty breakfasts are served in the dining room.

Dining at The Flint Barns 

Guests can enjoy lunch or dinner at the Flint Barns restaurant, which offers seasonal and regional dishes paired with Rathfinny wines. For a more casual and relaxed atmosphere, visit the lounge or snug, with their fireplaces and comfortable sofas.  You can also sip a glass of Sussex Sparkling outdoors in the walled courtyard, or on the open bank, overlooking the vineyard and the South Downs.
