Bolney Wine Estate

Established for more than half a century, Bolney is a true pioneer of English wine. As one of the first vineyards to be planted in England, it continues to lead the way today from its beautiful site in the heart of Sussex.

Bolney’s story began in 1972, when Rodney and Janet Pratt purchased a smallholding and planted their first vines. Taking inspiration from their surroundings, Janet and Rodney were guided by nature in their approach to producing award-winning still and sparkling wines and spirits. Now led by the couple’s daughter, Sam Linter, Bolney Wine Estate is a leading force in Sussex wine.

At the estate, just outside of Horsham, visitors can enjoy vineyard experiences including guided tours and tastings of Bolney’s award-winning wine, as well as an exciting calendar of events throughout the year.
