Held annually in June, English Wine Week celebrates all that is great and good about English wine (and trust us, there’s a lot). Across the UK, our homegrown industry is spotlighted by supermarkets, wine merchants, hotels, pubs, bars and restaurants. But of course the real action takes place in the wineries, and the vineyards of Sussex typically mark the week with a range of special events, including offers, tours, tastings and more.
English Wine Week takes place annually in June – a key time for the vineyards when buds turn into flowers and grapes begin to form. This year’s English Wine Week is from 15th-23rd June. During this week, the vineyards of Sussex fling open their doors for a range of events in celebration of English wine, while hotels, restaurants, wine bars and wine merchants typically offer special deals, collaborations and English wine pop-ups.
