South Downs Dark Skies Festivals

Stargaze in Sussex’s Dark Sky Reserve

Things are looking up on the downs as stargazers across Sussex turn their eyes to the heavens for February’s Dark Skies Festival. This two-week celebration of all things celestial takes you on a journey to the moon and planets, there’s a Facebook Live session and even an astrophotography masterclass. Back down on terra firma, the local wildlife gets a look in as well as we find out which animals come out to play in the dark.
